Our Commitment

Jorgenson Services is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find information about our services, request a free estimate, and contact us without barriers.

We aim to meet the standards set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What We've Done

We have built this website with accessibility in mind from the start. Here is what is currently in place:

Structure & Navigation

• The site is built with semantic HTML5 elements, meaning screen readers and assistive technologies can correctly interpret headings, lists, buttons, and navigation
• All standard links and buttons are keyboard-accessible using the Tab key and Enter key
• Pages are logically structured with clear heading hierarchy

Images

• All images on the site have descriptive alt text so screen reader users know what is shown

Forms

• All form fields have aria-label attributes so screen readers can identify each field correctly
• Required fields are clearly marked
• The consent checkbox includes a visible, readable label

Color & Contrast

• The dark sections of the site use white text on a dark navy background (#0c1327), which meets WCAG AA contrast requirements
• The light sections use dark ink (#101d38) on a light background (#f0f5ff), which also meets WCAG AA contrast requirements

Text & Readability

• Body text is sized at 13–16px for readability
• The site does not rely on color alone to convey information

Mobile & Responsiveness

• The site is fully responsive and has been tested at screen widths of 320px, 375px, 768px, 1024px, and 1440px
• Touch targets are sized appropriately for mobile use

Media

• The site contains no video, audio, or CAPTCHA elements that could create barriers

Known Limitations

We want to be honest about where we currently fall short:

• No skip navigation link — the site does not yet include a "Skip to main content" link, which allows keyboard users to bypass the navigation menu and jump directly to the page content. We are aware of this and plan to add it in a future update.

Technical Information

This website was built as a static HTML/CSS/JavaScript site hosted on Netlify. Accessibility features are implemented directly in the page markup and do not depend on JavaScript being enabled for core content to be readable.

The fonts used are Plus Jakarta Sans and Bebas Neue, loaded via Google Fonts. Bebas Neue is used for decorative display headings only; body text uses Plus Jakarta Sans.
